Feel My Pain is the autobiography of Darryl D. Moore.

As a child, Darryl was misdiagnosed with ADD/HD. Darryl was actually bi-polar and suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. This wasn’t discovered until he was 39. He was mislabeled as being a child with a discipline problem. The remedy at that time was to heavily medicate children. Darryl encountered a teacher so cruel that she isolated him behind a six foot high cardboard box for almost half a school year until he told his mother what was happening.

After college, he was never able to get a job paying much even though he has a Masters Degree. Stress and mounting bills led to tension between Darryl and his wife. Eventually they parted. As time went on, he finally answered the call that was burning inside him. He participated in an open mic show and his girlfriend at the time made good on her threat that she’d abort their baby and kick him out. He was homeless for a brief period sleeping in his truck. Grief stricken over the death of his daughter, he became deeply depressed. Nightmares and sleepless nights almost destroyed him. He was battling this for almost two years while entertaining crowds at comedy clubs and pursuing his acting career.
